Partnering with horses as metaphors for self-discovery and personal healing.

These unmounted therapy programs partner with horses as metaphors to help participants explore their inner selves. This approach empowers individuals with trauma to connect with their emotions and find healing.

Through these sessions, participants uncover emotional patterns and triggers, gaining a deeper understanding of their responses. This self-awareness enables our therapists to work with individuals to develop personalized strategies for managing challenges, fostering emotional regulation, and promoting lasting positive change.

A journey of Self-Discovery

A journey of Self-Discovery

unfolding through the

presence of horses

How does it work?

Equine-assisted therapy, guided by a licensed therapist, offers a non-traditional, holistic approach outside the office setting. Instead of asking direct questions, the therapist invites participants to observe and reflect on the behaviors of the horses. These observations often reveal important insights about the participant's feelings and emotional state.

The therapist uses these non-verbal cues to gently guide the conversation, helping uncover underlying emotions and provide non-invasive strategies for emotional healing. This process creates a safe, natural space for participants to explore their emotions, facilitating deeper self-awareness and personal growth.
